Beyoncé Knowles’ mother, Tina Knowles, is known for her fashion design ventures since the Destiny Child days. The Deréon and House of Deréon co-owner came up with her own line “Miss Tina” a while back, and she continues to enjoy the fruits of her hard work.
Just recently, Miss Tina moved into Walmart, after previously partnering with the Home Shopping Network. Moving into its new ‘home’, the line expanded its sizes up to size 18. Tina Knowles commented about the upsizing:
“I’m the best model for this. I’m busty, I’m full under the arms and around the back. I couldn’t wear jackets or a white button-down shirt before, and I don’t want bare arms. All I was looking for was a jacket that actually closed.”
Tina is convinced that women want the same thing, no matter what their sizes are. Therefore she put a lot of thought in Miss Tina’s creation process.

“These clothes are all made with the thought process to make you look slimmer and taller. Every dress has some draping and ruching, everything has stretch, even the leather jackets. Sand-blasting on jeans? That’s not great for most figures and you won’t find it here.”
We’re loving Tina Knowles more and more as she shared her style advice:
“The best thing you can do is take your time to study your own style, and then the individual pieces will come naturally.”
